“Não somos só uma coisa”
Há um ano, depois de ter concretizado mais um projeto que tanto me tem trazido, a Casa Molenga, comecei a questionar-me sobre o que realmente sou, do que gosto de fazer e o que me faz sentir realizada. Encontrei a resposta quando parei para refletir sobre todo o meu percurso e a imensa diversidade que caracteriza o meu trabalho.
Fazendo uma retrospectiva destes últimos 10 anos, o macramé foi só o mote para embarcar nesta viagem de autodescoberta, curiosidade e autodidatismo, que começou pelo desejo de partilhar e aprender com uma comunidade de pessoas com ideias tão semelhantes às minhas.
Vocês, sem saberem, vão me guiando por novos caminhos (caso contrário não teria tido coragem de correr o país a dar workshops e a partilhar os meus ensinamentos com tantas pessoas incríveis).
Sempre me questionei se esta faceta de camaleão seria uma força ou uma fragilidade, mas na verdade, para mim é algo vital. Eu adoro partilhar a minha arte e os meus ensinamentos, mas também projetos de DIY, dicas de decoração, lifestyle, receitas... impor limites à minha diversidade criativa seria no mínimo castrador.
E por isso, como os projetos na gaveta não estão destinados a ficar por lá eternamente, realizo agora mais um deles que há muito desejava concretizar: a criação de uma limitada coleção de artigos para a casa, pensada com muito amor e que espero que torne as vossas “casas” ainda mais felizes.
Espero que desse lado gostem e que saibam que deste lado continuarei a estar atenta às tendências, às vossas preferências, necessidades e sugestões.
Cada dia no desconhecido é uma oportunidade para nos descobrirmos e uma certeza de que “não somos só uma coisa”, somos uma imensidão delas...e quantas mais, melhor.

“We're more than one thing”
A year ago, after completing yet another project that has brought me so much, Casa Molenga, I started to question myself about what I really am, what I like to do and what that makes me feel fulfilled. I found the answer when I stopped to reflect on the whole my journey and the immense diversity that characterizes my work.
Looking back over the last 10 years, macramé was just the motto to embark
on this journey of self-discovery, curiosity and self-education, which began with the desire to share and learn from a community of like-minded people.
You, without knowing it, are guiding me along new paths (otherwise I wouldn't have had courage to run around the country giving workshops and sharing my teachings with so many amazing people).
I always questioned whether this chameleon facet would be a strength or a weakness, but in fact, for me it is something vital. I love sharing my art and teachings, but also DIY projects, decorating tips, lifestyle, recipes... setting limits to my creative diversity would be emasculating to say the least.
And therefore, as the projects in the drawer are not destined to stay there forever,
I am now carrying out one more of them that I have long wanted to achieve: the creation of a limited collection of items for the house, thought with a lot of love and that I hope will make your “homes” even happier.
I hope that on this side you like it and that you know that on this side I will continue to be attentive to the trends, your preferences, needs and suggestions.
Each day in the unknown is an opportunity to discover ourselves and a certainty of
that “we are not just one thing”, we are an immensity of them... and the more, the better.
