One of my favorite DIYs ever!
For the Papier Mache paste: Soak a toilet paper roll in very hot water. Let it soak until it cools down. Remove excess water and break everything into small pieces. Place the pieces in the grinder, add water, and grind until a homogeneous paste. Strain the paste. In a bowl, add a glass of wheat flour and a glass of white glue to the paste. Knead the dough well, and gradually add flour until the paste does not stick to your hands. (If you prefer not to use it right away, you can seal it well in a plastic bag, removing all the air, and keep it in the fridge).
For the bowl: Protect the work area. Use a mold cup, and cover it with cling film. Start at the top, placing pieces of paste trying to get the same thickness. With slightly damp hands, smooth and seal cracks and holes.
For the base of the cup, I used a cardboard circle, and "lined" it with the paste. For the rim, I added a little more paste along the entire length of the bowl.
Let it dry for 4 / 5 days.
Once dry, gently remove from the mold. You can choose to leave it like that, or paint it. On this bowl I applied a hand with a mixture of white and beige acrylic paint, and after drying I applied a few dabs of coffee to give it a more aged look. Finally, I applied a protective acrylic varnish (optional)

Um dos meus DIY preferidos de sempre!
Para a pasta de Papel Machê: demolhar um rolo de papel higiénico em água muito quente. Deixar de molho até arrefecer. Retirar o excesso de água e despedaçar tudo em pedaços pequenos. Colocar os pedaços na trituradora, adicionar água, e triturar até ficar uma pasta homogénea. Coar a pasta. Numa bacia, juntar à pasta, um copo de farinha de trigo e um copo de cola branca. Sovar bem a massa, e ir acrescentando farinha até a pasta não ficar colada às mãos. (Se preferirem não usar logo, podem selar bem num saco de plástico, retirando todo o ar, e conservar no frigorífico).
Para a Taça: Proteger a zona de trabalho. Usar uma taça para molde, e cobri-la com película aderente. Começar pelo topo, colocando pedaços da pasta tentando obter a mesma espessura. Com as mãos um pouco húmidas, deve-se ir alisando, e selando rachas e buracos.
Para a base da taça, usei um círculo de cartão, e "forrei" com a pasta. Para o rebordo, acrescentei mais um pouco de pasta ao longo de toda a taça.
Deixar secar por 4 / 5 dias.
Assim que estiver seco, retirar gentilmente do molde. Poderão optar por deixar assim, ou pintar. Neste taça dei uma de mão com uma mistura de tinta acrílica branca e bege, e depois de secar apliquei umas pinceladas de café para dar um ar mais envelhecido. Por fim, apliquei um verniz acrílico protector (opcional)
