"Pine" candles to celebrate the beautiful Christmas decorations.
Start by placing the candles in warm water (attention: it has to be warm and not hot!). Let the candles soak for a while until they become a little more pliable.
Then just remove them from the water and "carve" the chips (twigs) with a knife from bottom to top around the candle.
The secret lies in the temperature of the water (warm), and finding the ideal thickness of the chips. At first, it can take a while to get it right, so it's a good idea to have extra spark plugs.

Velas "Pinheiro" para celebrar as bonitas decorações de Natal.
Começar por colocar as velas em água morna (atenção: tem que ser morna e não quente!). Deixar as velas de molho por algum tempo até que se tornem um pouco mais flexíveis.
Em seguida, basta retirá-las da água e "esculpir" as lascas (galhos) com uma faca de baixo para cima ao redor da vela.
O segredo está mesmo na temperatura da água (morna), e encontrar a espessura ideal das lascas. Ao início, pode demorar até acertar, por isso convém ter velas suplentes a mais.
